1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Scout The Bot, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable policies. If you do not agree, do not log in or use the site.
2. Eligibility
You must be a member of a FIRST Robotics Competition or FIRST Tech Challenge team, an authorized mentor, or a representative acting on a team’s behalf to use team login features.
3. Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your team login credentials and for all activity under your team’s account. Report suspected unauthorized access immediately through the support channel.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the site, including but not limited to attempting unauthorized access, uploading malicious or inappropriate content, or interfering with other teams’ data.
5. Content Ownership
Teams retain ownership of their uploaded content and private notes. By uploading content, you grant the site permission to store and display it to authorized users as intended by the platform.
6. Private Notes and Data Handling
Private notes are visible only to the team that created them. The platform may remove stale notes based on retention policies to maintain performance and storage health.

API access requires an API key. Keys are issued by administrators and may be revoked if misuse is detected. You are responsible for keeping your key secure.
8. Third-Party Services
The platform may rely on third-party services, such as official FIRST data feeds or analytics providers. Availability and accuracy of those services are outside our control.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any account or API key that violates these terms or compromises the safety of the community.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Scout The Bot is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or the accuracy of external data sources.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
12. Changes to These Terms
